Searchable database of Australian women's footballers. Filter by club, position, country, or year of birth.
Matildas Monitor is an independent, public player database for Australian women's football. It tracks Australian footballers across the A-League Women, the state NPL Women's competitions, the college system and overseas professional leagues, in one searchable place. Around 428 player profiles are currently live, drawn from a master record of more than 1,100 players.
Each profile lists club, position, country and year of birth, with the official source used to verify it. The database exists for anyone following the national team pathway: analysts, coaches, journalists and supporters who want to know where the next Matildas are playing.
Players are grouped by where they sit on the pathway. Tier 1 is uncapped players aged 15 to 22. Tier 2 is emerging A-League Women players. Tier 3 is the overseas pipeline. The tiers drive the scouting reports published on Substack; the database itself covers all of them.
Records are updated daily. Sources prioritise official club and league pages over secondary reporting. Corrections can be submitted through the form at the bottom of this page and are actioned against the source, not the claim.
Players under 16 are shown with year of birth only. No full date of birth is published for any player, and no contact details or personal information beyond the football record are held.
